Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: August 17, 2026
RamRadar is a free RAM price-tracking service. Running the scrapers, the database, and the site costs money, and affiliate commissions are how we pay for it. This page explains exactly which links earn us a commission and which do not.
Active affiliate programs
- eBay Partner Network: most “buy” buttons on RamRadar link to eBay listings. If you click one and make a purchase, eBay pays us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same.
- Newegg (via Rakuten Advertising): Newegg links are routed through Rakuten’s affiliate network. Same deal: a small commission to us, no change to your price.
- Sovrn Commerce: eligible retailer links not covered by a direct program may be routed through this sub-affiliate network. This can include B&H Photo, Best Buy, or Walmart links.
Links that may not be monetized
- Amazon: RamRadar carries no Amazon links, Amazon prices, or Amazon-hosted images. Amazon does not appear in our price history, all-time-low figures, or price alerts.
A retailer link can remain unmonetized when no configured direct or sub-affiliate program supports that destination. We still show the cheapest eligible offer either way and identify when an older fallback is used. Amazon is excluded from all sub-affiliate routing.
Sponsored placements
Separately from affiliate links, brands can pay for clearly labeled sponsored placements (see our advertise page). Sponsored placements always carry a visible “Sponsored” label. There are no undisclosed paid placements on RamRadar.
What commissions never change
- The prices we display: they come from retailer data feeds, never from advertisers.
- Which retailer we mark as the best price: the cheapest eligible in-stock offer, preferring fresh data and clearly labeling older fallbacks.
- Editorial rankings, deal scores, and buy/wait verdicts: based on current price, price history, capacity/value, and product fit, never commission rates.
If a cheaper price exists at a retailer that pays us nothing, we show it anyway. A price tracker that shaded its data toward commissions would be useless, and we know it.
